About Will Seberger
I am a freelance photojournalist and commercial photographer based in Tucson, Arizona, USA, and working wherever the job takes me. Of course, much of what I do is within the confines of Arizona, but the job has taken me across the United States, to Europe, East Africa and Mexico.
Whether I'm on assignment for a newspaper or magazine, or making pictures for a public relations campaign or annual report, it's all about the people for me. I love meeting new people, hearing their stories, and doing everything I can to capture their essence in a photograph. After all, the story is almost always about the people living in it.
Photgraphy is more than a hobby or talent for me - it's my job. Making pictures is what I do for a living; and I'm happy to offer the service.
What I Do
On the surface, I make pictures. It's really a lot more involved than that, though.
I work with my clients to develop a vision of what the product should be, or what the story should contain, and then I go find it. I'm much more than a rented camera.
Extracurriculars
When I'm not making pictures or running the business behind it, I do a lot of community outreach work; both in the photography community and where I live.
I am a contributing columnist for the Black Star Rising blog, and a mentor to youths interested in photography.
In the community, I clean up graffiti and vounteer with Habitat for Humanity and other charities.
I'm also a member of the National Press Photographers' Association.
