I am a freelance photojournalist and commercial
photographer based in Tucson, Arizona. Although a majority
of my work is done in the Southwest and Northern Mexico, I
am available for assignment anywhere.
Photojournalism is more than taking pictures. It is
storytelling. And in today's mile-a-second news
marketplace, a picture is worth a bit more than a thousand
words. I deliver ethically captured and edited stories in a
diverse range of formats. Need audio with your pictures? I
can also provide extended captions or even full stories
with my pictures. Multimedia concerns need not be a concern
either.
Editors can count on me to provide finished, polished
content ahead of deadline, every time.
My interests are diverse, but include environmental
portraiture, border and immigration issues, economics,
science, history/archaeology, performance art and food. I
really enjoy environmental portraiture as well.
As a commercial photographer, I am available for corporate
portraits and events, site photos, ad art and product
shoots. I offer my commercial clients the same level of
service that editorial clients receive. I am there to
support you during the planning stage, for the capture
process and on through when the ink hits the page. Coming
from an photojournalism background, my commercial work has
a truthful, authentic look, but with a polished finish.
